clientexpert aims to be a trusted partner to our clients in search of and securing the very best talent to take up permanent and contract positions.

In our experience, technology recruitment firms tend to lack technical expertise, this makes it difficult for them to really understand what skills a job needs and to find out if a candidate is actually suitable for a job. This may explain why the practice of 'keyword' recruitment has become prevalent; clients are inundated with CVs based on database searches of keywords and can end up receiving hundreds of CVs that need to be reviewed. This benefits neither the employer nor the candidates, and totally defeats the objective of using a recruitment company.

This is a major advantage in understanding technical requirements and identifying people with the capabilities to do a particular job. We meet with you and apply our technology expertise to clearly understand the experience, knowledge and qualities required to succeed in each role. We document each job requirement and agree it with you. If needed, we help you define your technology needs and develop a strategy that will enable you to achieve them. Our technical skills, expertise and reputation, will bring forward candidates you may not otherwise have access to.

Finding Candidates

- With a documented and agreed requirement we will commence finding candidates – some of the ways we do this are: our database, via industry organisations and forums, finding names from our industry sources and at your competitors’ and sometimes advertising.

Interesting and Selecting Candidates

- We speak to the most suitable candidates to find out if they are interested or could be tempted to take an opportunity with your company. Using the job specification and our technical expertise we will develop a set of questions to provide a basis for selection and may review examples of the candidates work. Candidates passing initial selection will be provided with information about your company and will be asked to attend a follow up meeting usually face to face and occasionally by telephone. During this meeting we will look again at technical skills and find out about their experience, approach to problem solving, management style, interests and personality in relation to your needs.

Presenting Candidates

- In the interest of time, ‘Suitable’ candidates’ information will be sent to you by email. This will include the CV, the notes taken during selection and samples of work where appropriate. You can decide whom you would like to see or find out more about. We will set appointments for telephone or in person interviews.

- In parallel we will discuss terms of remuneration and advise on what will be needed to bring the candidates you want on board. We want everyone to feel they are getting a good deal as this will secure the most suitable candidates and help you retain them.

From Candidate to Employee or Consultant

- We will assist with the set up of additional meetings and negotiation of employment terms.

- For contract placements we will deal with administration of payments to the sub-contractor, provide timesheets and review performance with you periodically as you require.
